Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR)


The foundation of an organization’s behavior in society is responsibility and accountability for its activities and decisions towards its stakeholders. The continuation of this responsible behavior can cause the formation of a legitimate and acceptable identity of the organization among its stakeholders and even society. The goal of Petronad Asia Petrochemical Company is to ensure the role of social responsibility of the organization in order to determine how to ethically respond to social issues at the level of employees, customers, stakeholders, environment, economy and society members towards their business. Therefore, this company considers responding to the needs of all stakeholders in its business field as an inherent duty of the organization.

Commitments


The foundation of social responsibility is the leadership and commitment of the senior management of organizations and the readiness to provide sufficient resources in this sector. In this regard, Petronad Asia is committed to the fundamental principles of CSR and is specifically committed to the following:

  • By adopting a clear strategy and allocating sufficient resources, ensure the effective implementation of social responsibility programs and their continuation.
  • To manage interests and relations with stakeholders in a proper and effective manner in line with social responsibility.
  • Establish and implement systems related to new management and excellence approaches in order to improve the organizational level in the areas related to stakeholders; including human resources, in accordance with the organization’s excellence roadmap.
  • Use resources in an optimal, efficient and effective manner in line with the principles of social responsibility.
  • Train and empower expert human capitals so that these trained human capitals facilitate the guidance of the organization in line with short-term, medium-term and long-term strategies.
  • Improve the necessary infrastructures to create social responsibility of Petronad Asia Petrochemical Company and create a social responsibility management system in accordance with international requirements and maintain and continue it.
  • To continuously monitor the social responsibility goals of Petronad Asia Petrochemicals and strive for continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Believing in CSR as a new necessity in the implementation of new projects and efforts to realize its vision goals.
  • Promoting organizational culture and supporting efficient and effective CSR in the organization.
  • Clear communication and information with all stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, under organizational values.

Policies


It is necessary to comply with the following points in the field of social responsibility of Petronad Asia Petrochemicals:

  • Adherence to the principles of social responsibility of all elements of the organization
  • Initiative and innovation in social responsibility is always valuable and respected, and new and efficient ideas of employees in this field are welcomed, for this reason, all employees active in this field are encouraged and motivated to continuously in their respected fields.
  • In all decision making and action taking related to the organization’s business, the issue of social responsibility should be considered as a high priority and evaluated in all cases.
  • Petronad Asia Company should monitor and measure all situations related to social responsibility and prepare a report on its programs, achievements and performance in this field and send it to the Secretariat of the Social Responsibility Committee on an ongoing basis.
  • Petronad Asia Company considers itself committed, based on the principles in the field of social responsibility, to make a voluntary effort to improve the quality of life of those who work in the vicinity of the site or surrounding areas; those who host the company’s projects, and support the constructive and effective dialogue with the general public and local institutions in this field.
  • All employees working in Petronad Asia Petrochemical Company have the duty to present research, reports or evaluations resulting from their studies in order to promote and increase the efficiency of organizational social responsibility. Also, based on the assessment of the social responsibility committee, the strategic council should appreciate their actions appropriately and within the framework of the company’s approved incentive policies.
